A Christmas flashmob in Veliko Tarnovo will light up the Christmas lights. The attractive event will take place exactly at 17:00 on December 1 (next Wednesday), next to the big Christmas tree in front of the Municipality. The flashmob was planned for this Friday (November 26), but due to the expected rain, it has been postponed to December 1.
The Christmas spirit and mood will be brought by the talents of the popular Junior Band brass band. The central part of the Old Capital will be voiced by popular melodies in a special arrangement, performed in the unique way, typical for the musicians from “Emilian Stanev” Secondary School.
Together with the Christmas tree in front of the Municipality of Veliko Tarnovo, the lights will be lit on the coniferous trees in the park area near the monument “Mother Bulgaria”, as well as the attractive Christmas decorations on the streets in the city. The Christmas music event is supported by the Mayor of Veliko Tarnovo – Daniel Panov, and traditionally the Christmas decorations will color the city exactly one month before Christmas.
No need for a green certificate to enter the Christmas bazaar
This Friday opens the beloved by young and old Christmas Bazaar . Both events – the lighting of the Christmas decorations and the Christmas bazaar, are in accordance with the current anti-epidemic measures.
There will be a special organization during the visit to the Christmas bazaar in Veliko Tarnovo. Around the 33 houses the traffic will be one-way, similar to the cooperative market. And although it is outdoors, visitors must wear masks, but there is no need for a green certificate to enter the bazaar. Disinfectants will be placed at the entrance and a few other stations, and employees will monitor for the compliance with anti-epidemic measures.
For the first year, the wooden pavilions are so many, which enriches the variety of Christmas decorations, souvenirs, toys, etc. The festive atmosphere is complemented by the three hot spots, which will offer meat delicacies and beer wines.
