A new series of loosened measures from today in Bulgaria. Driving courses are renewed, subject to strict rules against the epidemic. Individual workouts are permitted for a number of outdoor sports. Swimming pools will also be able to work, but if they abide by all the sanitary requirements set by the Minister of Health.

The order for wearing a protective mask or other means of covering the nose and mouth of all citizens of Bulgaria who are in indoor or outdoor public places is extended and remains mandatory until May 13th. The issuance of the new order is due the growing epidemic of COVlD-19 on the territory of Bulgaria and the increasing number of reported cases of coronavirus infection.

As of today, parks across Bulgaria will be open to visitors. The Health Minister Kiril Ananiyev issued an order on Saturday to open parks in strict compliance with sanitation and government regulations -masks are mandatory, no group gatherings, no drinking beer or sitting on the benches, no playing on the swings, slides and so on. The parks in Sofia, Ruse, Stara Zagora, Pleven, Veliko Tarnovo and more, as well as the beaches in Varna and Burgas,will be opened for walks. Check with your municipality to see which parks are open in your city.

1171 is the total number of COVID-19 infected in Bulgaria. The new cases for the day are 90, which is a significant increase from the previous day (8.3%). Of these, 21 people have been hospitalized. This was made clear by the regular morning briefing of the National Operations Headquarters.
