Over 70 optical and physical illusions will impress visitors of the new unique Museum of Illusions, which will be opened in Veliko Tarnovo later this month. It will offer holograms, 3D paintings, a levitating orb, an inverted room, a Jedi place, an Ames room, a real bank vault, a poppy plantation and many more entertainments and illusions.
The attractions are arranged on an area of 500 square meters in a 5-storey building in the historic old part of Veliko Tarnovo. The building has 14 rooms and one large hall. Each floor has a special theme and a unique illusion. Initially, the illusions will be over 50, with the exhibition constantly developing and expanding. The attractions are suitable for all ages – whether you’re a kid or an adult you will be astonished by all of the amazing and unique illusions.
On the ground floor, visitors will be able to enjoy a huge artistic copy of the Tsarevets fortress made from sand. There will also be regular Sound and Light screenings. The idea is that tourists who have come to Veliko Tarnovo only during the day and have no opportunity to watch this unique show live will be able to see it here. The organizers have also prepared an interactive view of the city but as it looked like a 100 years ago. That will be possible with special 3D glasses. With their help, the unique view which opens to the eyes of the viewer from the last floor of the building will be transformed into that of a century ago.
The Museum of Illusions in Veliko Tarnovo overturns the notions of reality and breaks trust in one’s own eyes. Do you want to be a dwarf or giant? To find yourself into a mirror world? To overcome gravity? Then visit the Museum of Illusions which will officially open at the end of February. You can find the museum at 1 Stefan Stambolov str.
