The exhibition “The Museum – Unexpected, Open, Shared” will be opened in Veliko Tarnovo on July 24 (Wednesday) at 5:30 pm in Museum of Contemporary History at “Saedinenie” Square. The exhibition will be open until 10 August 2019. What makes this exhibition unusual? Keep reading to find out.
Post and Tele Exhibition attracts visitors in Veliko Tarnovo. The intriguing exposition is housed in the building of the Central Post Office (the second entrance down the stairs off the main Nezavisimost Street). Currently the number of the exhibits is just over 200.
Among the items is the bureau of a post office director; it is equipped with two phones, documentation and ink cartridges, one of which dates from the 1940s. These are all taken from the post office in the village Nedan.
Author of the exhibition is Burama Keita, of Malian origin but currently residing in Bulgaria and dealing with African culture.
The exhibitionis called Africa: My land, My Soul and is part of a long-term project and will stay in Veliko Tarnovo from October 6th to 30th October. Visitors will have the opportunity to see a different culture presented in the old capital of Bulgaria. The exhibition will cover different topics such as history, geography, literature, and modern and traditional African painting. You can also hear and see African music and dancing at the opening of the exhibition which will be held in French (with interpretation into Bulgarian).
