Second Arbanasi near Veliko Tarnovo to be formed in Strandzha locality

Because of the strict construction norms in the area of Arbanasi near Veliko Tarnovo and the ban on expansion, the so-called second Arbanasi is starting to form. It is located to the left of the road to Gorna Oryahovitsa in the direction of the railway town and goes out to the panoramic Garga Bair above the Trapezitsa Fortress. Interest is great and entrepreneurs have started to buy land there. The panorama is unique and that is one of the biggest advantages of Arbanasi 2.

The village of Arbanasi is situated on a high plateau 4 km from the town of Veliko Tarnovo. It is known that the village existed during the Second Bulgarian State (1185 – 1393).  Arbanasi is an architectural and museum reserve and is included in the 100 national tourist sites. Arbanasi offers various possibilities for accommodation and entertainment – you can stay in guest houses furnished in Renaissance style, in modern hotels and large hotel complexes, villas and chalets in the vicinity. The restaurants and inns will offer typical Bulgarian cuisine and a variety of specialities from the region.

Arbanasi 2 has started growing on the left side of the road between Veliko Tarnovo and Gorna Oryahovitsa. The Municipality of Veliko Tarnovo has already started approving plans for the building of waterways to the so-called Arbanasi 2. Among them are those of Nedko Hristov, head of “Sintezia” company, who already has several hotels in the architectural reserve.

Particular areas around Arbanasi near Veliko Tarnovo and especially between the Garga Bair and Strandzha areas fall into the Natura 2000 international ecological network, but for most of the land that has the status of agricultural land, there is no problem to build. According to the construction standards for the area, the permissible height for the future houses here is 7 meters.
