Nearly 1,000 purebred animals – sheep, goats, llamas, dogs, horses and donkeys will be shown at the tenth anniversary edition of the National Sheep Breeders’ Fair. From 6 to 8 May on the meadows near the Petropavlovski Monastery near the town of Lyaskovets will be able to see the diversity of breeds of sheep and goats raised in the country, which are rare indigenous and highly productive species.
A new parking lot with a capacity of up to 120 spaces is being designed in the central part of Veliko Tarnovo. The site will be on the spot of the former football field in the area of the old military school – next to the busy Hristo Botev Street. This was announced by the Mayor – Daniel Panov at a working meeting with municipal councilors from various political groups, during which current issues related to traffic organization, parking and others were discussed.
The organization Animal friends VT is selling handmade souvenirs and decorations for Easter to cover the treatment of injured stray animals in Veliko Tarnovo. Photos of the available products are published on the Facebook page of the campaign. Those who want to help can choose between baskets, candles, cards, plush bunnies, etc. All items are at symbolic prices.
