New hours for the “green corridors” for the elderly in Bulgaria

The Minister of Health, Prof. Kostadin Angelov, corrected his order which specifies when elderly people over 65 can shop in grocery stores and pharmacies.

New hours for the "green corridors" for the elderly in Bulgaria

From November 14th grocery stores must organize their work as to not allow people under 65 years of age in the hours between 13.30 and 16.30. In these hours only people aged 65 and over are allowed to shop.

There are two “green corridors” for the elderly to visit pharmacies. Pharmacies must organize their work by not admitting people under the age of 65 between 8.00 and 10.00 and 13.30 and 16.30. Only people aged 65 and over are allowed at the specified hours.

The newly diagnosed with COVID-19 in Bulgaria in the last 24 hours are 816. The distribution by districts is as follows: Blagoevgrad – 38; Burgas – 81; Varna – 64; Veliko Tarnovo – 22; Vidin – 14; Vratsa – 10; Gabrovo – 16; Dobrich – 14; Kardzhali – 1; Kyustendil – 64; Lovech – 29; Montana – 17; Pazardzhik – 41; Pernik – 16; Pleven – 46; Plovdiv – 34; Razgrad – 20; Ruse – 2; Silistra – 2; Sliven – 17; Smolyan – 13; Sofia region – 27; Sofia city – 193; Stara Zagora – 19; Targovishte – 5; Shumen – 6; Yambol – 5.

A total of 98,251 cases of the new coronavirus have been proven in Bulgaria so far, of which 66,746 are active. 29,375 are the cured people with 570 of them registered during the last 24 hours. The number of patients with confirmed COVID-19 in hospitals is 5,247. Of these, 293 are in intensive care. The death toll is 2,130 of which 39 cases registered in the last 24 hours.
