Popular yoga instructors will teach for free in the old capital for a whole week. In the period 20 – 26 June, free practices will be held here with the idea to charge everyone present with positive energy and to attract as many people as possible to a healthy lifestyle. The initiative came from TarnovoRuns and the tireless Dr. Kalin Vassilev. Within the action there will be 14 yoga lessons from 10 instructors.
The event is held on the occasion of World Yoga Day and has already become a tradition for Veliko Tarnovo.
All lessons will be a gift from the teachers. Their idea is to instill the necessary positivism in people, to make them go out, get some fresh air, do something together with hundreds of other positive people. This is their eighth consecutive year in which they keep on giving health to people. Every well-meaning person, as they say, is invited and you can of course bring a friend or two as well.
The initiative will take place in three locations – Sveta Gora Park, Ivaylo Stadium and Kartala. Those who do not have the opportunity to attend in person will be able to follow the practices live through a broadcast on Facebook.
There will also be an official celebration of World Yoga Day, which includes a special program. On Tuesday, June 21, at 18:30 at the stadium, three instructors will teach for two hours.
All classes in the program will be held outdoors, Sveta Gora Park for the mornings lessons and Kartala Park for the evening ones. It is a good idea to bring a rug, towel or a mat if you have one. The organizers have about 50 yoga mats – a gift from the store “Decathlon”, and every year they donate them for common use.
The practices are suitable for beginners who have been practicing yoga for a long time and for those who have never tried this experience before.
