The charming Hilda Kazasyan, together with her fantastic musicians and the Pleven Philharmonic Orchestra will come to Veliko Tarnovo on October 19th to immerse us in the world of magical Bulgarian film music.
The program of the concert “Let’s listen to some cinema” selects the most well-known and favourite melodies from Bulgarian feature films of all time such as “Любимец 13” (Lyubimetz 13/Favorite 13), “Козият рог” (Koziyat rog/ The Goat Horn), “Адаптация” (Adaptatsiya/Adaptation), “Вчера” (Vchera/Yesterday) and others. Even if you don’t know Bulgarian this would be a great way to acquaint yourself with some of the classics of Bulgarian movies. After all, music is a universal language.
On the stage next to Hilda and the Pleven Philharmonic Orchestra with conductor Borislav Yotsov, will be some of the best established jazz musicians in Bulgaria: Hristo Yotsov – drums, Zhivko Petrov – piano, Dimitar Karamfilov – double bass and Mihail Yosifov – trumpet. Special guests are Teodosi Spasov and Vasil Petrov. The multimedia, which has a special place in this show, was prepared by Vasil Karkelanov. The fantastic arrangements, which give a whole new life to this music, so loved by all, were made especially for this occasion by Zhivko Petrov and Hristo Yotsov.
The concert in Veliko Tarnovo will be on October 19th from 20:00 on the stage of the Palace of Culture and Sports “Vasil Levski”. Tickets are already on sale in the EVENTIM network.
