Two ice-skating rinks will be available for the citizens and guests of Veliko Tarnovo. The first one of them is currently under construction behind Billa supermarket. The facility will span at 600 sqm. The field will be frozen via a latest state of the art technology using coolant called glycol. The skating rink will have all necessary certificates and will conform to all safety standards.
There will be skates available for rental and a wardrobe to leave your stuff at. Tickets for children up to 7 years old will be 4 lv and students and pupils will pay 5 lv. The prices include the skates rental and health insurance. There will also be no time restriction as to how long you use the ice-skating rink. Season tickets as well as family tickets will also be available. Everyone will be given safety and skating instruction prior to getting on the ice. Staff at the facility can administer first aid in case of emergency. The skating arena will open within days and will work every day from 10 am till 10 pm.
The second ice rink will be located near Vasil Levski Sports and Culture Hall and will cover 400 sqm. It opens today (5th December); adult tickets cost 3 lv and children and students will pay 2.50 lv.
