A colourful 3-day autumn festival will be held on the famous Samovodska charshia in Veliko Tarnovo from 22nd to 24th September. This year the traditional Night of the Samovodska charshia will be combined with the Crafts Festival, offering the residents of the old capital and guests of the city a lot of emotions and rich art programs.
The second national rock festival “Hotalich” -Sevlievo ‘2018 will be held on the 31st August at and the 1st September in Sevlievo, near Veliko Tarnovo. The festival will start at 17:00 on Friday and end at 23:55 on Saturday. For all residents and guests of the city who will visit the festival, parking is provided at the Fairground in Sevlievo.
The repair of the Gorna Oryahovitsa airport near Veliko Tarnovo is expected to begin in September. The renovation of the smallest international airport in Bulgaria was due to start in the summer, but because of the elaboration of a detailed DDP, the many co-owners of the parcels in the area and the expropriation procedures, the repair was delayed, explained the administration.
