Sofia Film Fest is coming to Veliko Tarnovo from April 8 to 10. The team of the festival and the Municipality of Veliko Tarnovo invite the residents and guests of the city to the 11th edition – value cinema with selected films for cinema lovers. Within 3 days in the Great Hall of the Municipality of Veliko Tarnovo will be presented six of the most intriguing festival films of the past year.
The team of Sofia Film Fest and Veliko Turnovo Municipality offer to the cinema lovers in Veliko Tarnovo an open-air cinema. For five days, some of the most important, powerful and moving films from 2018 will be shown in the Marno Pole Park in Veliko Tarnovo. The ticket price for a movie is 4 leva, a “ticket for two” is worth 7 leva, and if you get tickets for more than 2 movies – the price is 3 leva. All screenings have a start time of 21.00 – after sunset.
For the third consecutive time, Veliko Tarnovo received European recognition for two of the most popular cultural forums in Bulgaria and abroad. The “Stage of the Ages” Summer Opera Festival and the Arbanasi Summer Music International Classical Chamber Music Festival are awarded the European Festival for 2019 and 2020 marks. The festivals are approved by an international jury of the European Festival Association, supported by the European Commission and the European Parliament.
