The state of emergency in Bulgaria has been extended

The Parliament extended the state of emergency in Bulgaria until May 13th due to the spread of COVID-19. This state of emergency was introduced on March 13th and was originally until April 13th but due to the current situation with the coronavirus it has been extended to 13th May.

Update on COVID-19 in Veliko Tarnovo and Bulgaria

A third coronavirus positive patient was registered in Veliko Tarnovo. The patient is a 79 year old woman. She was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia. After the positive result for COVID-19 she was admitted to the specialized ward of the regional hospital.
