Nightclubs, gambling halls, casinos, restaurants and gyms in Bulgaria will remain closed until January 31st, 2021. Kindergartens and nurseries will open on January 4th, 2021. Students from first to fourth grade will go back to school on January 4th. This was announced by the Minister of Health Kostadin Angelov at the regular briefing today.
The ban for malls will also continue with the exception of some of the institutions in them such as telecommunications companies, banks and so on. The ban on events, conferences and congresses continues until January 31st as well. Theatres, museums galleries and cinemas can open with 30% occupancy from January 1st.
The newly diagnosed people with COVID-19 in Bulgaria during the last 24 hours are 1 959. The total cases of coronavirus in our country are 186 246. The active cases are 89 540. The cured people are 90 510 with 2 575 of them registered during the past 24 hours. The number of patients with proven coronavirus in hospitals is 7 034 with 570 of them in intensive care. The total number of deceased people is 6 196 with 191 cases registered in the past 24 hours.
