The online bazaar “Christmas magic” by the Samovodska Charshia started on December 7th. Organizers of the event are AEK “Samovodska Charshia”, Wine Tasting Center and Samovodska Charshia Association.
At the online bazaar, you will find hand-woven scarfs, hand-embroidered toys for your Christmas tree and other hand-made crafts, as well as specially selected wine from a local winery in the Veliko Tarnovo region, sweet temptations, and special Christmas packages or Christmas vouchers. All this – gift wrapped and delivered free of charge to a courier office. The aim of the online event is to replace the Christmas bazaar at the Samovodska Charshia which was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
You can see all of the handmade gifts, their prices and delivery conditions at the Facebook page of the Samovodska Charshia. The purchase is made either through a personal message on the page or with a comment below the photo of whichever product you’d like to order. You will need to provide two names, a phone number, city and to which courier office you want your gift to be delivered. Payment is made upon delivery or via bank transfer. You can also choose delivery to an address but then the delivery won’t be free.
If you fancy a more in-person option for Christmas shopping, you can visit the Christmas bazaar at Marno Pole Park in Veliko Tarnovo. Of course, all anti-epidemic measures are observed at the bazaar – disinfectants have been provided and one-way traffic has been determined. Also, visitors have to wear masks and observe social distance. The wooden houses in Marno Pole Park offer a rich variety of Christmas decorations, toys, souvenirs, seasonal goods, confectionery and many more festive temptations.
