Gorna Oryahovitsa with a beautiful new city Centre

Gorna Oryahovitsa now has one of the most beautiful city squares in the country. 

In addition to attractive fountains and rest and play areas, reading and outdoor venues in the central part of the city of Gorna Oryahovitsa, there is also free internet. In the western part of the square, there are cascades and a dry fountain, separate playgrounds for quiet games, open-air reading room, free WI-FI zone. In the north-eastern part, there is a zone for a temporary market, where it would be possible to build a Christmas market, a spring bazaar and other events related to public activity. In the southern part of the pedestrian zone there is a children’s playground, and in the central part there is a place for a mobile scene for mass sports and cultural events. Visiting the square is a real attraction, especially at night.  Besides the central square, the Park “Detski kut” was renovated as well. The park is situated on an area of 53 decares with green areas, playgrounds and sports grounds. That makes it one of the largest urban parks in central northern Bulgaria. New alley networks of main, secondary and circumnavigation lanes have been made. There are many areas for walking, for picnics and for active recreation. In the centre of the Park, there is a new playground with a fountain around which there are seating areas. For the joy of the younger visitors, there are also a combined playground, skateboards playground, physical exercise equipment, fitness equipment, and a children’s playground. There are children’s playgrounds for different age groups with play facilities and all surfaces are covered in a shock absorbing surface. The landscaping of the park is with decorative and flowering tree and shrub vegetation. New alley road lighting and video surveillance are planned for the park in Gorna Oryahovitsa.
