The annual Christmas Market in Veliko Tarnovo opens on December, 1st. Just like previous years it will be located at Marno Pole Park in the centre of the town. The park will be adorned with festive decorations and attractive lighting and will feature 25 chalets and a children’ fairground.
The market is inspired by the traditional Austrian Christmas markets and will bring us the spirit of the Christmas season with lots of attractions, amusements, events and concerts. The chalets will offer unique handmade gifts, Christmas decorations and toys, souvenirs, works of arts and crafts, seasonal goods, confectionery and culinary delights throughout the whole of December. In the Glühwein House everyone can try Mulled wine and Austrian wursts (sausages). There will also be a covered scene where various concerts and events will be held every day. And of course kids will be able post their letters to Santa until 24th December at the Christmas Post Office under the most majestic spruce in the park.
Tomorrow we will tell you more about one of the chalets, the activity of which was kindly sponsored by our friends from Yantra Homes, Hadji Nikoli Inn and Wild Rovers 4X4.
The Christmas Market in Marno Pole Park will be open every day until December, 31st from 10 am till 8 pm.
