With the onset of September, we begin to dream of cooler weather and the colourful autumn. And with that comes the Night of the Samovodska Charshia and the Crafts Festival. This year the festival will be held from 18 to 23 September 2020. What is more, the edition is a special one – its the X-th anniversary edition.
The cultural calendar of Veliko Tarnovo this summer is constantly changing due to the emergency epidemic situation in the country. At the moment, some of the events are already underway, others are planned, and others have been postponed or will not take place. Those that still remain in the program will be without international participation and even without some of the pre-announced Bulgarian artists.
The ninth edition of the Autumn Festival, that was inspired by the European Night of Museums initiative, which has become a tradition for Veliko Tarnovo, will be held from September 20th to September 23rd. The festival blends antique crafts and modern art, offering visitors a variety of activities, many positive emotions, and a rich musical and accompanying program.
A colourful 3-day autumn festival will be held on the famous Samovodska charshia in Veliko Tarnovo from 22nd to 24th September. This year the traditional Night of the Samovodska charshia will be combined with the Crafts Festival, offering the residents of the old capital and guests of the city a lot of emotions and rich art programs.
