Nearly 1,000 purebred animals – sheep, goats, llamas, dogs, horses and donkeys will be shown at the tenth anniversary edition of the National Sheep Breeders’ Fair. From 6 to 8 May on the meadows near the Petropavlovski Monastery near the town of Lyaskovets will be able to see the diversity of breeds of sheep and goats raised in the country, which are rare indigenous and highly productive species.

The International Folklore Festival returns to Veliko Tarnovo but only with Balkan participants
After the global pandemic blocked the entire cultural life last year, the traditional International Folklore Festival in Veliko Tarnovo will be held this year, albeit on a smaller scale than in previous years. The festival will once again be part of the cultural calendar of the old capital from July 25 to 30 on the stage of the Summer Theater.
