The Ministry of the Interior changed the form of the declaration for passage through checkpoints in the regional cities, informed the press center of the department.
Additional measures to stop the spread of the coronavirus were implemented; they were introduced on 21 March in Veliko Tarnovo and all over Bulgaria as well.
The first case of a coronavirus infection was announced in Veliko Tarnovo. The patient is a 30-year-old man who returned from Sofia a few days ago. After the onset of symptoms typical for COVID-19, the person sought medical attention. The patient is placed under home quarantine, his condition is good and he does not have to be admitted to the infectious ward.
