Famous jazz pianist Asparuh Boilov with his first Bulgarian concert in Veliko Tarnovo

The virtuoso Bulgarian jazz pianist with a successful international career Asparuh Boilov will make his debut in Bulgaria. The young musician chose Veliko Tarnovo to present himself to the Bulgarian audience with a solo instrumental concert.

The event will take place on December 13th at the elite Veliko Tarnovo club “Arte”. The concert starts at 8:00 pm and Asparuh will present a two-hour program on a magnificent and fully restored 100-year-old white royal.

Asparuh Boilov is an active pianist who has been performing for over 15 years. His name is mentioned with admiration by both the audience and the colleagues he has worked with. Boilov is one of the most successful Bulgarian jazz pianists whose love for music takes him far beyond his home country. The musician has worked with Broadway instrumentalists, played with the pianist of Frank Sinatra, the saxophonist of Ray Charles, and has toured half the world thanks to his concerts.

However, Asparuh and his wife began dreaming of coming back home and of a realization in Bulgaria. They chose to settle in his wife’s home town Veliko Tarnovo, where Asparuh met and began working with the popular local musician Petko Savov. Today, Savov is the manager of the popular pianist.

Asparuh Boilov’s concert in Veliko Tarnovo on December 13th will present him in all his glory to music lovers. The jazz pianist has already started rehearsing for the club scene with all of the singers managed by Petko Savov. By the end of 2019, Asparuh Boilov will have shared the stage with the winner of The Voice of Bulgaria Steliana Hristova, the opera tenor Momchil Karaivanov, the young Tarnovo star Hristiana Tsvetkova, as well as the legend of piano bar culture in Bulgaria – the singer Mirela Velichkova.
