Delicious beagles, sandwiches, salads, healthy desserts, fresh juices and smoothies are just a small part of the Porto Fresh assortment – the newest place for fresh foods and drinks in Veliko Tarnovo.
The official opening of the place was on Saturday at 14.10 am. What distinguishes Porto Fresh from the other fast food places is that it offers a wide variety of healthy foods, drinks and desserts, relying on pure products and high quality. Each of them is personally selected, and many of the products are from local manufacturers to ensure the shortest route to customers to make them as fresh as possible.
Martin Zgyrev, the owner of Porto Fresh, says that he has had an idea for a place like this for a long time. Plus, he is a big advocate for healthy eating and overall a healthy lifestyle. That’s how the idea of Porto Fresh came in, and the name Fresh itself.
The head chef is Vasil Kostadinov, who has graduated from the Culinary Academy in Sofia and has extensive experience abroad. According to his idea, some of the recipes were created, with Italian and French flavours but refracted by the Bulgarian preferences. The emphasis in the menu of Porto Fresh is the so-called bagles, which are offered with different flavours – chicken, sweet, vegetable, salmon bagel. Healthy sandwiches are also included in the menu, and the buns are baked on site so that their quality and taste can be guaranteed.
Healthy eating lovers can discover a wide variety of smoothies, juices and fresh juices, as well as healthy desserts without sugar – cheesecake, granola, panakota, brownies, energy candy and many more.
The beautiful interior is a combination of Italian-French style, with cosy furnishings, creating a pleasant atmosphere for meeting friends for a cup of coffee. Porto Fresh is the only place in the city that offers café d’Italia, and for those who love French taste, Richard’s coffee is also available.
Porto Fresh is located in the centre of Veliko Tarnovo, close to the vegetable market, at 14 “Vasil Levski” Street and is open daily from 08.00 to 20.00.
