The first green taxi, both literally and metaphorically, is now available in Veliko Tarnovo. The car is easily recognizable with its grass green colour. The usual place where you can find the eco-taxi is the taxi rank in front of Mall Veliko Tarnovo. The vehicle is Toyota Prius – a full hybrid electric mid-size hatchback; it can be propelled by gasoline and/or electric power and its CO₂ emissions are very low. Most if its clients are young people who are concerned about the environment. The green taxi price per km is the same as other taxis’ fares.
