Hundreds of rockers from the whole country are expected to gather near the Kapinovski Monastery for the national moto rock fest there. The event which is taking place every year is organized by Veliko Tarnovo Moto Club Boliari. The official opening is today (22.08) at 8 pm. The hosting club has prepared many contests and fun activities for the bikers. A rock concert starts at 9 o’clock.
On Saturday (23.08) the rockers will have a parade through Veliko Tarnovo starting at 11 am. Then they will lay flowers at the grave of their patron Grishata. The Moto Rock Fest programme continues at 1 pm at the village of Kozarevets; the fifth round of the Moto Drug Race Championship for Bulgaria Cup will be held there. Action is shifting to the Kapinovski Monastery grounds in the evening. There will be many attractive contests for the bikers including rope pulling and arm wrestling. Everyone present will be delighted with another rock concert and the party is to come to an end in the small hours with erotic show at the pool of the nearby recreational complex.
Moto rock fest Boliari is going to be the only one for this year in Veliko Tarnovo. Because of the June floods the annual rock fest organized by Old Bastard Moto Club near Kilifarevski Monastery was called off. The other traditional rock festival organized by Bad Company was also cancelled.
