Tomorrow there will be planned power outage in the Veliko Tarnovo town and some of the neighbouring municipalities. Electric Distribution North AD, Distributor service centre Gabrovo and Gorna Oryahovitsa informs its clients that:
On April 25, 2018, from 8:30 am to 8:35 am, from 1:00 pm to 1:05 pm and from 4:30 pm to 4:35 pm
due to switching on of the electricity supply facilities the electricity will be interrupted in the area of: Veliko Tarnovo town – zone “B”, “Lazurna” Str., “Veneta Boteva” Str., 4, 13, 17, 19, 21 “Dragan Tsonchev” Str., 4 Todor Ivanov Str., Vasil Zlatarski Str., Stoyan Koledarov Str., Yordan Kulleiev Str. and in part of the villa zone “Pishmana”.
According to the real estate agencies in Veliko Tarnovo, the main factors behind one such tendency are the calm and peaceful life in Veliko Tarnovo villages, the fresh air and the stunning nature, as well as the good infrastructure and the reasonable prices of the rural properties.
The migration process is likely to continue given the large number of projects that are to be developed by big investors. There are already about 50 approved plans for building “satellite neighbourhoods” in the suburbs of Veliko Tarnovo.
The villages near Veliko Tarnovo are becoming more and more attractive for setting up a home. For the last year only, 6,000 people from the towns in Veliko Tarnovo area have chosen the peace and serenity of village life. The migration data has been provided by TSB (Territorial Statistical Bureau) in Veliko Tarnovo and shows a steady migration tendency (from towns to Veliko Tarnovo villages) for the past years, with a serious peak for the current 2017.
The local newspaper of Borba published some data today which shows that the number of people living in Veliko Tarnovo, based on their permanent address registration, is 72,938. The second most populated town in the municipality is Debelets with its 4007 permanent residents. Kilifarevo is the home of 2446 people.
Resen apparently is the largest village; the population there is 1946. 1495 are the officially registered people living in Samovodene. The list continues with Ledenik – 872, Belyakovets – 793, Vodoley – 788, Prisovo – 773 and Pchelishte – 609. Arbanasi is the permanent place of abode to 299 people.
Authorities have announced that each village in Veliko Tarnovo area will have its own video surveillance by the end of the year. CCTVs are on top of the priorities’ lists of the mayors of the 34 villages and the two small towns of Debelets and Kilifarevo which fall within the jurisdiction of Veliko Tarnovo Municipality.
The first CCTV camera in a local village was set up about five years ago; by the beginning of the year the number of settlements with video surveillance has reached 27 with 180 cameras. The last 9 places without this feature will have it before the end of the year.
