For the 4th consecutive year Resen will host its bread fest under the No One Is Bigger Than Bread slogan. It will take place on July, 2nd (Saturday) at the local community centre. The celebration day will feature two contests – for best dough-made product and best folk song performer.
Folk musical groups from around the country will compete in the singing contest. The participant in the culinary competition will present their ritual breads, banitsi, mekitsi, buhti and other dough-made products.
Everyone who visits Resen will be able to try tasty mekitsi prepared according to authentic Resen recipe and sweet boiled wheat.
