Large non-food stores can now open under new conditions. This was announced by the Bulgarian Minister of Economy Lachezar Borisov during the regular weekly briefing of the health authorities in the Council of Ministers.
The minister has issued instructions that independent stores and non-food stores in shopping centers, to which there is direct access (an entrance from the street or parking lot) can continue their activities. Shops with an area of over 300 sq. m., can also continue working by allocating and limiting their area to 300 sq. m. through partition walls, strips, stands, etc. Outside the commercial sites, in open areas, and in compliance with the measures, it will be possible to carry out commercial activity, the minister also explained.
The newly diagnosed people with coronavirus in Bulgaria during the past 24 hours are 4,375. The proven cases of COVID-19 in our country are currently a total of 317,116 with 62,392 active. The cured people are 242,311 with 2,709 of them registered during the last 24 hours. A total of 9,125 patients are hospitalized, 743 of them are in intensive care. So far a total of 401,309 doses of vaccines against COVID-19 have been applied, 12,504 of which – in the past 24 hours. During the last 24 hours, 106 people died, bringing the total number of deaths to 12,413.
