On May 6, 2021, “green corridors” will be opened in the following immunization offices for all people wishing to be immunized from the district of Veliko Tarnovo:
- In the regional hospital “Dr. St. Cherkezov ”AD – floor II, Reception-consultative office in the Consultative-diagnostic block of the medical institution – office №212, Veliko Tarnovo, 1 Nish Str. – from 10:00 to 15:00;
- In RHI – Veliko Tarnovo – 23 Nikola Gabrovski Str. (Western entrance with direct access from the yard) – from 10:00 to 15:00;
- Individual practice for primary care – doctor’s office – Dr. Nikolay Simeonov – Gorna Oryahovitsa, 7 Tsar Kaloyan Str. – from 8:30 to 12:00 and from 13:30 to 17:30
Immunizations in the above mentioned will be performed with Pfizer/BioNTech and AstraZeneca vaccines, by choice of the patient.
On May 7, 2021 in the hospital in Pavlikeni, 2 Vasil Petleshkov Str. a “green corridor” will be opened for all those wishing to be immunized with the AstraZeneca vaccine, from 13:00 to 15:00.
From May 10, 2021, those registered through the electronic portal for registration of vaccination against COVID-19 will be able to request and receive their preferred type of vaccine.
For the period 21.04.2021 – 04.05.2021 for the Veliko Tarnovo district a 14-day morbidity of 199.9 per 100 thousand population was reported. During the last 24 hours on the territory of the district the newly diagnosed cases with COVID-19 are five.
As for the country, 367 are the newly diagnosed people with COVID-19 during the past 24 hours. The confirmed cases of coronavirus at the moment are a total of 406,192. The active cases are 47,357. 342,226 people have been cured with 1,058 of them registered in the last 24 hours. A total of 6,670 patients were admitted to hospitals with 637 of them in intensive care. The total number of doses of COVID-19 vaccines administered in Bulgaria is 844,643. 11,133 of them have been administered in the past 24 hours. The death toll is 16,609 with 61 cases reported in the last 24 hours.
