British citizens can no longer buy land in Bulgaria

From January 1st, citizens from Great Britain can no longer acquire land (including agricultural land and forests) in Bulgaria except by inheritance. The reason for the ban is that they have the status of third-country nationals for the European Union as a result of Brexit. The ban does not affect past cases, as well as the purchase of other real estate (apartments, houses, etc.).

New one-way streets and speed limits of 30 km in Veliko Tarnovo

Some of the streets in the centre and the wide centre of Veliko Tarnovo will become one-way and the speed limit will be 30 km. This reduction of traffic aims to both increase the safety on the streets and to create new parking spots. The Pavlikeni Zoo renewed its licence for another 5 years

The only zoo in the area, located in Pavlikeni, renewed its licence to work for another 5 years. The place enjoys great interest and in order to continue this positive trend, they have increased their fauna with new inhabitants. The variety of animals is now complemented by albino kangaroos, ostriches, emu and jackals. Besides them, monkeys, deer, bears, foxes, cute Vietnamese piglets, and many more can be seen in the zoo.
