The team of the Konstantin Kisimov Music and Drama Theatre in Veliko Tarnovo will present masterpieces of world opera and operetta classics. The traditional Christmas gala concert will be on December 22nd at 7 pm in the large hall of the theatre. The performance will be held with up to 30% of the total capacity of the hall, observance of physical distance and all other anti-epidemic measures issued by the Ministry of Health.

Get in the Christmas spirit at the Christmas bazaar in Veliko Tarnovo
The Christmas bazaar in Veliko Tarnovo opened on Friday, November 27th, but there was no official opening due to the current situation. The initial idea this year was for the bazaar to have two locations – Marno Pole Park and the Samovodska Charshia, but due to the dissatisfaction of the residents of the Varusha neighbourhood, it was decided to be in Marno Pole Park only. The bazaar will remain until the end of December and will be open every day from 10:00 to 20:00.
An attractive spectacle in front of Tsarevets recreates the great uprising of Peter and Asen
An attractive spectacle in front of the Tsarevets fortress will take us back in time to the 12th century and in particular – the glorious 1185. The theatrical historical reconstruction will recreate the uprising of the boyar brothers Peter and Asen, which led to the rejection of the Byzantine empire and the restoration of the Bulgarian kingdom. The stage of the event will be Tsar Asen I Square in front of the Tsarevets fortress in Veliko Tarnovo.
The eleventh edition of Trabant Fest will be held on 07.11 in Veliko Tarnovo
The Eleventh edition of Trabant Fest Veliko Tarnovo 2020 which was postponed due to the state of emergency, will be held on November 7th in the old capital. The event starts at 10 am at the parking in front of Marno Pole Park. This was announced by the founder of the parade Milen Mihov. It should be mentioned that November 7th is the date on which the first legendary car of this brand was put into production in the GDR in 1957.
