The Kapinovo Monastery Camping in the Veliko Tarnovo district is amongst the best ones according to a survey
The campsite near the Kapinovo Monastery triumphs in this year’s ranking of favourite Bulgarian campsites, organized by the camping.bg platform. The representative of the Veliko Tarnovo district won a record six awards, getting ahead of even the equipped nature tourism areas along the Black Sea coast.
Big extension of the road to Momin Sbor because of the new Ruse-Veliko Tarnovo highway
According to “Borba” newspaper, there will be a four-lane extension of the road junction to Momin Sbor. There are four lanes at the moment, but only near Veliko Tarnovo itself and the lanes should be wide and feature a high-speed road all the way to Momin Sbor. The extension is already approved. The current road will reach a large road junction, which will be located in the area of the former Serb Grill southeast of Momin Sbor, where the future highway will pass, according to sketches from its final project.

From 5 to 20 October 2019, Bulgaria will celebrate better literature and its most virtuous incarnations on the big screen. The fifth, anniversary edition of the CineLibri Film and Literary Festival will be held in Sofia and seven other cities in the country – Veliko Tarnovo, Plovdiv, Varna, Burgas, Gabrovo, Targovishte and Stara Zagora, under the motto “The Fifth Dimension”.
