due to switching on of the electricity supply facilities the electricity will be interrupted in the area of: Veliko Tarnovo town – zone “B”, “Lazurna” Str., “Veneta Boteva” Str., 4, 13, 17, 19, 21 “Dragan Tsonchev” Str., 4 Todor Ivanov Str., Vasil Zlatarski Str., Stoyan Koledarov Str., Yordan Kulleiev Str. and in part of the villa zone “Pishmana”.
According to the real estate agencies in Veliko Tarnovo, the main factors behind one such tendency are the calm and peaceful life in Veliko Tarnovo villages, the fresh air and the stunning nature, as well as the good infrastructure and the reasonable prices of the rural properties.
The migration process is likely to continue given the large number of projects that are to be developed by big investors. There are already about 50 approved plans for building “satellite neighbourhoods” in the suburbs of Veliko Tarnovo.

The local newspaper of Borba published some data today which shows that the number of people living in Veliko Tarnovo, based on their permanent address registration, is 72,938. The second most populated town in the municipality is Debelets with its 4007 permanent residents. Kilifarevo is the home of 2446 people.
Resen apparently is the largest village; the population there is 1946. 1495 are the officially registered people living in Samovodene. The list continues with Ledenik – 872, Belyakovets – 793, Vodoley – 788, Prisovo – 773 and Pchelishte – 609. Arbanasi is the permanent place of abode to 299 people.
