On March 3, 1878, the Peace Treaty between Russia and the then Ottoman Empire was signed, ending the Russo-Turkish War, which began in 1877 and thus marked the beginning of the Third Bulgarian State. Festivities in Veliko Tarnovo for the National Holiday on March 3rd

A free pedestrian tour, traditional exhibition, horo and many more in Veliko Tarnovo for the National Holiday on the 3rd of March. The celebration of the National holiday of Bulgaria in Veliko Tarnovo will begin with a military ritual at 10.30 in front of the building of the municipality. The mayor eng.
