Days before the beginning of the summer tourist season it became clear that there will be new rules for foreign tourists to enter Bulgaria. This was announced by the resigned Minister of Health Kostadin Angelov.

According to the Minister of Health Prof. Kostadin Angelov, there is a fragile tendency of reduction of the number of coronavirus cases in Bulgaria, but the number of hospitalized remains high. 74% of the beds for uncomplicated patients on a national basis are occupied, and 65% is the share of patients in intensive care. The average age of those hospitalized is 53 years.
