The Bulgarian Council of Ministers adopted a decision to extend the emergency epidemic situation to November 30, 2020. This decision was made because the COVID-19 pandemic continues to be a severe public health emergency nationally and globally.

The government decided today that the emergency epidemic situation in Bulgaria will be prolonged until the end of September. This was suggested by the Minister of Health and approved by the parliament via a videoconference. However, the Health Minister assures that no new restrictive measures against COVID-19 are envisaged for now.
