Gyms, dance and sports centres in Bulgaria will resume their activities from the beginning of February. A green light is also given for the operation of stores in large shopping centres and malls. This became clear on Monday morning, during a meeting at the Council of Ministers. At the meeting, the representatives of the National Operational Headquarters recommended an easing of the anti-epidemic measures.

The Minister of Health Prof. Kostadin Angelov announced at the weekly briefing of the National Operational Headquarters that the measures introduced in Bulgaria to limit the infection are working. According to official data for the last week, the number of people cured is three times higher than the number of newly infected with COVID-19.
Nightclubs, gambling halls, casinos, restaurants and gyms in Bulgaria will remain closed until January 31st, 2021. Kindergartens and nurseries will open on January 4th, 2021. Students from first to fourth grade will go back to school on January 4th. This was announced by the Minister of Health Kostadin Angelov at the regular briefing today.
