As of today, June 22, visitors are allowed for patients with a hospital stay of more than 5 days, at the decision of the treating physician regarding the patient’s health condition and the risk of infection with COVID-19. This was ordered by the Minister of Health Dr. Stoycho Katsarov with his new order. The ban on visits to medical establishments does not apply to visits of patients in the terminal stage. When visiting medical establishments, all anti-epidemic measures must be observed, including the wearing of protective masks. Also no more than one visitor per patient is allowed at a time.

From today, April 29th, discos, bars, clubs and nightclubs in Bulgaria are allowed to operate. Visit to them will be carried out under strict measures. Staff are required to wear a face mask, but this requirement does not apply to visitors. Discos and bars will have no required closing time. Disinfectants must be provided at the sites. Also, the use of no more than 50% of their capacity will be allowed, according to the order of the resigned Minister of Health Prof. Kostadin Angelov. This is another step towards easing the restrictive measures against the spread of coronavirus in our country.
