Gardener’s Soup
The village of Draganovo, near Veliko Tarnovo, will host its Gardener’s Feast for the 5th time. It will be held on Thursday, 17th September.
The festive programme starts at 10 am; wreaths and flowers will be laid at Draganovo Gardeners’ Monument. A priest will serve a ceremony for health and fruitfulness. There will also A makeshift Farmer’s Market of the local producers will also be set up in front of the village Community Centre.
The visitors of the fest will be treated to a rich folklore programme and will have the opportunity to try the traditional Gardener’s soup (with main ingredients potatoes, carrots, green peas, peppers and tomatoes).
The fest is organized by Gorna Oryahovitsa Municipality, Draganovo Mayoralty and Draganovo Community Centre.
