The traffic lights junction
A new traffic organization is now in force at a junction at Magistralna Street (below the Language High School and above the retail and wholesale stores area). A traffic lights system costing 80,000 leva was placed there recently but only came to be working yesterday. The installation was mounted 4 months ago but due to some arguments between Veliko Tarnovo Municipality and the State Road Infrastructure Agency concerning a fee that should be paid to the agency the lights weren’t operating; now the money is paid. Be aware that serious jams are occurring even outside rush hours and are reaching all the way to the roundabout at Praktiker.
