Veliko Tarnovo to have a Wall of Love?

Veliko Tarnovo Municipality is to build a Wall of Love, which can become a real attraction and increase the number of tourist sites in the town. People in love will incorporate their love into it rather than locking padlocks to state their feelings. As you know people worldwide ‘lock’ their love with padlocks and put them on bridges, including Stambolov’s Bridge in Veliko Tarnovo. The project is already deposited with the authorities for approval. The wall will probably be located at Boruna Park, near Asenevtsi Monument, and will even bring good income to the local treasury. It will be built from stone and bricks and will also provide a stage/balcony where lovers can take photos. Anyone who loves someone may write their name on a brick and lay it in the wall. It is expected that one brick will cost around 3 leva.
