Three days of Latin dancing for the citizens and guests of Veliko Tarnovo! The Latin fiesta is going to take place from 5th till 7th June and is organized by a local dance centre. The festival is called Un beso Fiesta and will offer lots of Latin rhythm, fun and good mood for all the visitors and citizens of Veliko Tarnovo. The event is free and everyone can participate; it will take place near Asenevtsi monument and the Art gallery.
Kapoeira
Ten of the biggest Latin dances schools in Bulgaria will take part alongside guests from dancing academies from Greece and Romania. The fiestas will kick-start on June, 5th from 6 pm with salsa teaching classes for kids and later for grown-ups. From 8 pm De Fuego Orchestra, the most enchanting salsa music band in Bulgaria, will perform some of the dancers’ favourite Latin songs.
There will also be capoeira demonstrations on June, 7th from 7 pm. Best capoeira dancers from Sofia, Plovdiv and Veliko Tarnovo will show their skills. They will present the dance in the so-called Roda (a circle formed by capoeiristas and capoeira musical instruments, where every participant sings the typical songs and claps their hands following the music). The festival is going to be closed down with a Hawaii party from 9 pm. If the weather is bad all the activities will be conducted in Mall VT.
