For the 7th year, the village of Resen near Veliko Tarnovo will host its bread fest. The fest is under the motto No One Is Bigger Than Bread. It will take place on July, 6th (Saturday) at the local community centre at 10.00.

Veliko Tarnovo will host a first of a kind Fusion Fest 2019
From 28 June to 30 June, the residents and guests of Veliko Tarnovo will have the opportunity to enjoy a rich and diverse program within an attractive Fusion festival. Fusion Fest is held for the first time in Veliko Tarnovo, with the support of the Art and Culture Program of the Municipality of Veliko Tarnovo. Fusion music is an innovative art combining different traditional and contemporary cultures and genres but is still poorly recognized. World-Fusion is an art that combines the music of different cultures and from this point of view is particularly attractive to the mass audience. The significance of Fusion Fest at local, national and international level is that it will mix Bulgarian folklore with musical rhythms of other cultures.
Arbanassi Summer Music Festival near Veliko Tarnovo
The tenth-anniversary edition of the Arbanassi Summer Music Festival of Classical Chamber Music will take place from July 21 to 28, 2019 near Veliko Tarnovo. The festival week includes four concerts in the churches-museums “St. Georgi “(21 and 28 July) and” St. Archangels Michael and Gabriel “(23 and 25 July) in Arbanassi. The concerts will start at 19.30.
The Middle Ages come to life in the Tsarevets fortress in Veliko Tarnovo
The Tsarevets fortress in Veliko Tarnovo will become a natural decor for the 5th International Festival “Medieval Tarnovgrad”. From 28th to 30th June, the arts, crafts, military skills of Bulgaria, Byzantium and Europe of the XII-XIV century will come to life on the historic hill. Over 140 participants from Bulgaria, Italy, Romania, Serbia and Ukraine will take part in the spectacular re-enactments.
