A big festival is being prepared in the Bulgarian Stonehenge – the deer village of Rayuvtsi event Veliko Tarnovo

In the village of Rayuvtsi – the pearl of the Elenski Balkan. It is called the Bulgarian Stonehenge because of the megalithic complex built in 2017. There will once again be an exciting and unforgettable festival filled with music and dance. “Rayutsi 2023” will be held on August 26, Saturday, at the picturesque Valcha Polyana above the “Yovkovtsi” dam. The organiser is the “Stars Under the Stars” foundation. The programme and the participants will be kept secret until the end, so the surprise is even greater. A festival of vegetables and garden soup is organized in Zlataritsa – traditional Bulgarian food

“Something tasty with a carrot” – taste the unique traditional Bulgarian food

This unique festival is dedicated to vegetables. Also, it is organised only in Bulgaria and will have its 18th edition in Zlataritsa. With it, the city honours its Gurbetchii gardeners, with the help of whom the local church and school were built. In the past, every year, 600–700 people went on gurbet, but they came back and helped with the common affairs.

This year, Tsar Zelenchuk will be the carrot. Therefore, the organisers from the Municipality challenge all future participants to prepare a garden or vegetable soup of their choice. Applications for participation in the Municipal Administration are now being accepted; the deadline is August 25.

Petar Stefanov is organizing the country’s first meeting of Harley Davidson motorcycle owners in Veliko Tarnovo. He is a member of the “Bed Kampani” Motorcycle Club. Also he is one of the owners of the prestigious brand of vehicles. Representatives of the “Harley Davidson” clubs from Bulgaria and neighboring Balkan countries will participate in the gathering. Therefore about 70 “Harley Davidson” owners will arrive to the meeting. They will gather on Saturday around 2:00 pm in one of the famous establishments in the center of Veliko Tarnovo.
