The Culinary Festival “Colorful Table” for the thirteenth time will gather lovers of traditional Bulgarian food and Bulgarian folklore

For another year, the village of Dzhulyunitsa will welcome the National Culinary Festival “Colorful Table”.

The national festival “Colorful Table” will be held for the thirteenth time in the largest village of Lyaskovets, Dzhulyunitsa. This colorful culinary and folklore festival will once again show Bulgarian traditional food and folklore traditions live on August 26, 2023. The start is at 9 o’clock, and the place is traditionally over the years – the park space. The native village of the most famous Bulgarian in Asia – Kaloyan Mahlyanov-Kotooshu gathers masters of traditional Bulgarian cuisine. And residents of the village and surrounding villages will compete for the most delicious and original local dishes.

A festival of vegetables and garden soup is organized in Zlataritsa – traditional Bulgarian food

“Something tasty with a carrot” – taste the unique traditional Bulgarian food

This unique festival is dedicated to vegetables. Also, it is organised only in Bulgaria and will have its 18th edition in Zlataritsa. With it, the city honours its Gurbetchii gardeners, with the help of whom the local church and school were built. In the past, every year, 600–700 people went on gurbet, but they came back and helped with the common affairs.

This year, Tsar Zelenchuk will be the carrot. Therefore, the organisers from the Municipality challenge all future participants to prepare a garden or vegetable soup of their choice. Applications for participation in the Municipal Administration are now being accepted; the deadline is August 25.

For the 16th time, Gorna Oryahovitsa will host the holiday with a rich culinary, musical and dance program

Gornooryahovski sudzhuk is entered as a protected geographical indication in the European register of protected designations of origin. As a result, this is the first Bulgarian protected geographical name according to the European quality policy. Recalled the representatives of the three meat processing companies that have the right to produce it. The delicacy will be available as a dried product and freshly grilled. Gornooryahovski sujuk is produced from single-grade quality beef with a bouquet of characteristic spices. Most importantly, it’s without additives and is dried for no less than 15 days, according to the association. As a result, the production is attracting a lot of interest in more than 20 countries in the European Union, according to the producers. This year Gornooryahovski sudzhuk – Veliko Tarnovo festival will hosts guest from the region and tourists from abroad.

The eleventh edition of the festival, is expected to become the most visited in its history, in other words, don’t miss it. The main mission this time will be the promotion of native animal husbandry and Bulgarian food and drinks. You will be tempted by dairy and meat delicacies, organic products, aromatic pies and scones. And will be able to buy delicacies directly from producers. This year, the exhibitors will be mainly from Bulgaria, but there will also be their colleagues from the Balkan countries.
